Chinese artists to exhibit their work in Malta

The Chinese Cultural Centre, the Asia Art Funds and the America-China Beijing (Lihua) Cultural Exchange Ltd would like to invite you to visit the exhibition of Chinese contemporary art and character painting at Auberge d’Italie between 24th of August and the 14th of September 2012. The exhibition, hosted by Heritage Malta, will be held by two well known Chinese artists Mr. Zhenyu Sun and Mr. Liangang Sun, Art Director of Asia Art Funds.

Mr Zhenyu Sun has worked in the China International Culture Association, cultural industries institute of Peking University. The Incumbent Vice President of the Asia Art Funds, engaged in the art work of the research and promotion of Chinese characters artistic creation. During his tenure, he has participated in and hosted major exhibitions of several international art institutions, artist exchanges, and delegations abroad for exhibitions. His art works have been collected by many agencies throughout the word.

Mr Liangang Sun is the initiator of contemporary ideographism, director of Chinese Artists Association, Curator of Caochangdi Arts Galley and Vice Chairman & Art Director of Asia Art Funds. He organized “Dialogue” which is supported by Chinese Nation’s Fine Arts Publishing House in 2010. He also held various personal art exhibitions in China and other western countries. His works of art have been published and collected within many books, magazines and museums.

The main purpose of the Asia Art Funds is to actively promote and assist the development of the arts and culture, create and improve a conductive environment for artists in a cultural atmosphere, grant awards in the arts and culture and enhance the level of contemporary art.
